Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans change. This Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations work for both paperback books and ebooks at Phil’s Books.


1. Cancelling a Paperback Order

1.1 Before the Order Ships

If your order has not shipped yet, you may cancel it for a full refund.
Because we process orders quickly, please contact us as soon as possible after placing your order.

1.2 After the Order Has Shipped

Once a book has shipped, the order cannot be canceled.
However, you may still return the item following our Return & Refund Policy.


2. Cancelling an eBook Order

Because ebooks are delivered instantly, most ebook orders cannot be canceled once the download link has been sent.

We can only issue an ebook cancellation or refund if:

  • The wrong file or edition was sent
  • The file is corrupted or cannot be opened
  • A duplicate order was placed accidentally (same title, same customer)

Please notify us within 7 days if you experience any issues with your ebook.


3. Orders Placed by Mistake

If you placed an order unintentionally, contact us right away.
We’ll do our best to help, depending on whether the order has already shipped or the ebook has been delivered.


4. Unauthorized or Fraudulent Orders

If you believe your order was placed without your consent:

  • Contact us immediately
  • We will investigate the situation
  • Unauthorized orders will be canceled and refunded when appropriate

5. Refund Method

Approved cancellations are refunded to the original payment method.
Most refunds appear within 3–5 business days, depending on your bank.
